001 - Tipper

The Biller-Tipper was patented in Germany with the Reg.-No. 824 912 on OCT 02nd, 1948 That is my Tipper in my garden
 
I consider these models to be pre-production samples
 
Obviously the "Ur-Tipper" - dated 20.2.47 -

labeled as "Muldenbogen 001"

Dump truck or tipper without a number -> "0-Series," in dark green with a fire-red loading area, surely a production error. Absolutely authentic and not a home-made replica.

Tipper, numbered from 1 through 9, chassis and tipper light Green, the tipper was removable from the chassis. 3 versions known so far:

1. tipper inside initially Rubin Red (RAL 3003), the holding pins were blackened

2. approx. 1950 and later Fire Red, (RAL 3000), the holding pins were blackened

3. as described at 2. - now the holding pins are metallic blank

The tippers were the first models ever issued - and it should last until 1953 before other wagons were emitted.

beginning 1964 the tipper was kept to the chassis by a small additional tin plate - holding pins metallic blank (nickel coated?) - tipper inside Fire Red (RAL 3000). Metal tippers were available until 1971
