Billerbahn 2000
 

This set consists of a 2-piece landscape plastic diorama. Novelty 1972 - available until production ceased. This set was offered as 2000 U (U stands for Uhrwerk = clockwork) or 2000 E (electric). The lid always says 2000 - mostly without any letter - always shows the red 1013 B - but this engine was not necessarily included. My 1st set contained a 550 plastic steam loco. In early 2025 a clockwork set showed up including an orange 013 - the switches and bridge railings in light grey - in contrast to the previously known dark grey parts.

The street shown left side on the lid picture does NOT lead towards the quarry - but leads towards an implied underpass leaving the layout.
